If you are of the opinion that both our keepers are of similar ability then why should the one who misses out through injury not be given his place back as would be the case with an outfield player. I will concede your point regarding Wilf.

Did you honestly just say that with a straight face?

Joel Ward is of the same ability as a footballer as AWB?

Mate you are off your rocker.

Ho ho ho. Gave me a right old chuckle here.

Comparing Hennessey to Zaha and AWB, potentially our 2 best players.

That is not so much apples to oranges as apples to typewriters.

Guaita is in now it seems, PZ, so you better accept it.

And Eaglecorps calls me facetious! Compared to you I am an amateur in that field. Where did I compare Hennessey to Wilf and AWB who are both outfield players. If you want to be that stupid I could tun it around and say that Hennessey is a class above Wilf and AWB because they don't play in goal.

VG may have made a couple of good saves but he messed up gainst Leics and almost cost us a goal plus, although KDBs cross was flukey he made no effort to save it from going in.

‘Messed up against Leicester ‘, when he kept a clean sheet on his premier league debut ??

Do you actually read what is written. I said he almost cost a goal because he did mess up by getting caught out by Vardy instead of clearing the ball. If Kevin Friend had been the ref the foul might not have been given.

Kevin Friend wasn’t the ref, the foul was given. The only way the forward could get the ball was to foul the keeper, which he did.
Clean sheet. The end.

And Maradona handled it.

If anything the best thing that could have happened to him. Removes any complacency. .

As for your other comment

"KDBs cross was flukey he made no effort to save it from going in"

The only way any keeper would have stopped that would have been by

A. Being at the back of the goal, leaving the entire front post open for a player of KDB's quality to hit.

B. Being 15ft tall.

He started in the right place, it was a fluke. That's the whole point of a fluke - it's a freak event.

To me he looks a better keeper - more self assured and he's come in from a standing start with 2 clean sheets. WH has improved no doubt, but VG has the tools and the pedigree on his side and to me he also looks like a much cleaner "taker" of the ball. Shots into the body stick to him.

So?

Guaita is a better keeper, and will now be our number 1.

Get over it.

Hmmmm no reply here, PZ?

What a surprise.

Hard to justify a crazy point of view not based in reality isn’t it.

Far from me to know a players mind it seemed vardy accepted the decision and walked away.
He wouldnt have if he really beleived he didnt foul VG
Leicester didnt surround the ref and give him stick at the end so there is great milaege in it being the correct decision.
As for VG and his footwork he played in a lot slower league and is realising he doesnt get the time on the ball.
Also he does use both feet.
The defence do look solid with him behind and play 5 yards further forwards as well.
For now hes the man between the sticks for me.
