What a performance. Best show at one for ages.
I’m not bothered about only scoring 2 from 29 shots. At least we made the chances. What about when Wilf nearly broke the bar?
What is so good with that team is that they are all having a pop. On another day it could easily have been 4 or 5.
Just the rub of the green in my opinion.
Walking away after the game we were discussing what we need to buy in January and not sure who would fit in to such a balanced team. What a brilliant dilemma.
What an amazing feeling. We are looking great.
All 11 players looked fantastic.
Would like to see Wan start joining the shooting party a bit more.
Happy days.

It was a dominant performance, we utterly brushed them aside and they barely had a shot on goal.

However we have to be slightly concerned with our ability to finish chances this year. We created many, many clear cut chances, but we scored direct from a cross, and a worldie.

I take a lot of heart from yesterday's game but we must be less profligate in front of goal moving forward.

There will be games where we have 4 or 5 shots, and when you convert 2 goals from 30 odd chances that is not good enough; 1 per 15.

We look good in all areas of the pitch except in our ability to finish.

Burnley were truly awful yesterday, when I think back to Middlesboro in the cup, yes we were not full strength but that championship side looked like Barcelona next to what we saw yesterday.

To summarize - very, very happy with the game but we must work the keeper more and have an expectation to score more than 2 goals in 29 shots.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

Sometimes it’s nice to bathe in the glory of NOW and not worry about tomorrow. That is me after Burnley. Loved the game loving life and loving being a palace fan.

Hart made a number of very good saves for them, if not it would have been 6 or 7. Meyer and Jimmy Mac like to get in the box so if we keep this formation I think we'll be fine. Got to play with a bit of width, Roy sometimes plays too narrow.

Width comes from AWB, PVA, Wilf and Andros, with our entire midfield four playing quite narrow which seems to work.

Also noticeable that unlike when he had Andros in front of him, AWB gets far more protection from Jimmy Mac.

I think yesterday was an improvement in as much as we were shooting more often.

If we haven't got a centre forward then people have to want to take more speculative efforts.

As it happened we forced some great saves and hit the bar with efforts when in previous weeks players might have looked for that extra pass instead.

Way i see it, 29 shots and two goals..... without a recognized striker.

Add a strikers 10 attempts and one goal say, then the stats would have been in their 30's with 3 goals and people would be praising how the whole team are doing their bit and working together.

Well if he can do anything like this then it is definitely worth a punt :

Could take a decent penalty as well :

29 shots and predicted goals of 1.48 tells me that most of the shots were unlikely to go in, but just 'had a go on the offchance...' we have been saying for weeks that we havnt done it enough and I think Roy must have been drilling it into them. I really can't complain, at least 7 players in our team has several wonder goals on their cv so I love the fact they are starting to just have a go...

Fact is Hart stepped up big time for them, a different goalie and we put minimum 4 past them...
