The foul on Luca by Fellani was disgraceful and he was looking right at it!
How Shearer and Wright weren't up in arms on MOD I will never know.
Proper bad red card tackle in my book!
Anthony Taylor who was the 4th official failed to send off the Watford player back in august when he fouled Wilf just a few minutes into the game!
Hmmmmmmmmmmm!

We need Willo to tell us why Fellaini's red-carder wasn't even a yellow and why the ref didn't book him. There must be some reason....

Fellaini WAS cautioned for tha assault on Mili, as you said should of been red, but heh ho it was at Salford so what do you expect.

Shearer did state it should be red but Wright said its how your foot would normally be when you make a pass, Shearers reply was What, that high?

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

I actually thought the referee was excellent. The tackle on Luka wasn't great and I could see how it would be red worthy but there didn't appear to be huge amounts of intent.

He played advantage brilliantly and was fair and even with the yellows.

Not sure if he was cautioned for it considering we didn’t even get a free kick for it!

Excellent impartial post. Either referees are of the highest and honest character or the game stops. Just because I referee a game in Liverpool but live in Cardiff makes no difference. If the league really believe a ref is not up to it the ref would not be selected game after game.
We must assume the ref did not see the incident clearly and to make a decision when not seeing it would be dishonest.

The Fellaini foul on Luka was far worse than the one Mounie was sent off for yesterday at Huddersfield. Fellaini was lucky not to get a red, Mounie was unlucky that he did.
