Possibly the biggest waste of space in the Palace set up, as chief scout his performance has been dire.

Let's hope that Barry is as successful at Palace as he was at Fulham.

This is Simmonds second spell at Palace; last time he 'unearthed' Akinbiyi.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Physically big, defending from the front but with no particular delicate, cultured or intelligent skill. He couldn’t defend himself at the fans forum in the Stephenson lounge just before we bought him. I remember my mate saying it wasn’t, us, what we do, with any success, and above all, he’s a sh1t failure.

Freedman joins all the parts together by communicating to all, or there’d be some of the vital areas not communicating. Brightly does some of this in other areas lower down because Parish can’t do everything and these are football people. For all of Parish’s and Freedman’s faults these types of positions are necessary and I’d guess aren’t relatively expensive. They’re a damn sight more essential than some of the positions Portsmouth and West Ham bad wasting fortunes. Things like excessive staff for players settling in. Sure some of that’s needed but not in excess. Speroni was introduced to some Christian fans and local sponsors in Surrey. West Ham, Portsmouth and others no doubt were wasting millions on this. If you come to a fork in the road, take it. |
