Dead.

But if you're of a certain age and remember Carry on Screaming and Dougal & The Blue Cat, you'll know exactly who I mean.

That voice. That body. hmmmmm

Dougal and The Blue Cat. Loved listening to that on vinyl. "I'm blue, I'm beeaaautiful". Was way ahead of it's time in children/adult entertainment

I disengage, I turn the page.

She always seemed as mad as a box of frogs to me.

Carry On Screaming is what she will be remembered for but she did pop up in Guest House Paradiso which has the classic vomit scene.

Oh, and talking of nice ladies from the past.

I read an article the other day that said that all of the Lift Off with Ayshea episodes, featuring Ayshea Brough, were erased by accident. Remember her?

Very sad when stuff from the past like this is lost but I guess we all get 'wiped' eventually so it's just a matter of time.

Also in UFO, with Ed Bishop amongst others. Eye candy she (kind of) was, but absolutely awful on Lift Off.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Dougal and The Blue Cat was superb. Very, very dark and sinister and scarily unlike The Magic Roundabout. Quite disturbing for nippers like me, it was. Happily, easily available on DVD.

I offer:

Valerie Leon
Caroline Munro

Yep, both in ‘A spy who loved me.’

Valerie Leon is probably up in the top few naturally good looking female actors/celebs.

love Fenella, but she must have taken notes when watching Joan Greenwood - similar lilt to the voice, Sibella in Kind Hearts and Coronets
