Slightly off topic but picking up on the point that the man was not charged by the police and posters on here were wondering why not. Was he innocent? did Jamie over react? etc. Last night in the pub this foul woman kicked off and went on a 20 min rant against the bar staff. Non stop threatening and abusive language refusing to leave when she was barred. She then started fighting which led to a mass brawl with about 10 people involved who were either trying to keep her apart, attacking her or helping her. Finally the police turned up but she continued her tirade and aggressive behavior to them. After a few minutes I told my mates they not going to nick her even though it was all videotaped and some of the bar staff recorded it on their phones. Eventually after she calmed down the police let he go even though people had been hurt in the melee. My point being that we should not read to much into it when the police fail to arrest or charge someone for public order offenses. I would guess that it was too much paper work and they have better things to do. Anyway just another normal day in Weatherspoons Lewisham.

She should of been dragged out of the bar & beaten over the soles of her feet with a truncheon.....

I don't know who did it but one woman ended up with a broken nose. It was like a rugby rolling maul a group of people hanging on to it each will trying to separate / hit each other. Annoyingly the chief trouble make emerged unscathed. Very disappointed with the police.
