One win, two losses. Means roy surely has to bring Meyer and kayoute into the team, and hopefully drop benteke for Ayew or Sorloth. please not Sorloth, hes not good enough!

3 points against the saints and it's 2 wins, 2 losses and 6 points in 4 matches which averages 1.5 a game and come 38 games will be a total of 57 as others i believe have pointed out. A narrow defeat to Liverpool is not bad at all, a frustrating loss to watford happens unfortunately. A comfortable win over saints and fulham is on parr. We really have to think sharp and make amends for yesterday.

We are now above Man Utd on goal difference and level with Arsenal same points and goal difference. I'll take that over last year at this stage however we have done it.

I'd MUCH rather Wickam. I was saying on Sunday how much we miss him. Originally posted by spartakev2

Would be far happier with two away wins and a draw at home to Liverpool which would not be beyond the bounds of reason . We seem to be on the wrong end of refs at the moment , without a dive for a pen , a wrong sending off and a sending off that should have been as well as putting away our chances we could reasonably have 7 points .
I think this is one of those things you only notice when it is going against you. I saw a table recently that adjusted points for last season based on "incorrect" refereeing decisions. And wouldn't you know it, Palace acually fared pretty well. We got a lot more help from incorrect decisions than most other teams. So, I think it evens out in the end. Also, I'm not sure AWB's sending off was obviously wrong, TBH. I think it was a fifty-fifty call.

Wickham was bang average and then found a bit of form in the final few games of a season that we remember fondly because of getting to a FA Cup Final. Even if against all odds, that was his real form back then, we aren't going to get the powerful striker that ran off Man Utd's defence after a foul and put it past De Gea. Not after 2 and a half years of injury.
