Saw some fake news somewhere that we made a bid for him, Watford only yesterday apparently launched a £10M bid which will surely be rejected for one of their most loyal academy products. But maybe a loan with option to buy for say £16M could work.. Can't imagine we'd be in for another midfielder unless one was on the way out, although i do rate him and wanted to know what ye think, would he be a good acquisition?

I totally rate JWP and I feel he plays like the player we’d probably hoped JW would become before all his injuries. I’m not sure how he’d fit into our set up, but he looks good going forward behind the strikers imho as a CAM. Don’t know if that’s where he has been played recently. Would be a good acquisition.

Not someone I would have wanted, Wet Spam are welcome to him. Hopefully they’ll fritter their dosh on Maguire next. JWP takes a good free kick but so does Scott Banks.
