Is that what they said at the Nuremberg Trials?

Are you suggesting his crimes deserve the firing squad. I would think most people would think that comparison is OTT

I don’t want to be overly pedantic but I have time on my hands and well why not..............

Those found guilty and sentenced to death at Nuremberg were hanged, I believe mainly by Pierrepoint, and not shot.

I don't agree with the comparison between offensive texts sent by Moody and people who have committed crimes against humanity.

It is perhaps also worth pointing out that convicted war criminals were indeed re-employed by the CIA.

Unfortunately for those condemned Nazi's at Nuremberg they did not have the honour of being despatched by the legendary Albert Pierrepoint.

He hanged war criminals in other parts of Germany.

The Nuremberg lot were not fortunate to be in the hands of such a skilled practitioner of the art and were often executed via the 'short drop' sometimes taking many minutes to slowly asphyxiate.

I stand corrected and bow my head, to coin a phrase. I shall need to refer to my Beevor........ to coin yet another phrase!

True. If the Nuremburg trials were held today, with the same outcome. SKY would be bidding for exclusive broadcast rights of the executions.....

Jim White fronting probably.

You're confusing David bellamy with Patrick moore

Well why shouldn't he? That was always a favourite parlour game. "Who's up for a game of 'Patrick Moore Confusion'?". 4 chasers in immediate succession and the last one to be confused by Patrick Moore wins...

Bellers would love a round of that, I'm sure.

("So Gordon, what predictably tired, forced, curmudgeonly views have you on solar flares?" I'd watch that.)

Didn't Bellamy hit some Scandinavian with a golf club? He still works for SKY.
