Don't know why the club just don't reduce the match ticket price when bought with a membership by say £2 per game. then if you have a membership and go to all the home games then you recoup your membership cost over the season and the club don't have to fork out £ to merchandisers to produce tat that nobody wants. The club also then don't get complaints about said tat and why it always gets delivered late. you then don't get 'penalised' to the sound of £50 for being a club member. Also sorts out the ones who want to buy a membership to only go to one game (ie, away fans ) as the club doesn't need to waste any money on sending them merchandise they don't want.
