Unfortunately the american indians had to perish for the "progress" of mankind. I don't mean to sound grim but it is what it is. If it wasn't the western europeans it would've been someone else with the same result, sadly.

Sad and very wrong as it is that this is being forced in such a brutal way on a certain religion and I also disagree when the punishment happens in other scenarios (see below)
Is it not similar for example of how sharia law is being, or trying to be forced on people in certain parts of the world. With the same or very similar action on people who won't or don't conform.
Yes I know way back it was christionisation then Catholicism but at the moment in real time it is happening.
