Apparently has an 18 million release clause.

Unbelievable dribbler and finally starting to add an end product to his game with 5 goals 10 assists last season.
At just 22 years old it has to be a risk worth taking.

Most dribbles completed in the Championship last season:

Adama Traore -- 262
Luke Freeman -- 135
Ollie Watkins -- 122

I just think we only have around 20 mil to spend total and the only way we are going to spend more is by spreading payments

As much as I’d love him on our wing, now that zaha is seen as a striker, I feel there won’t be any money of this magnitude for a winger.

Roy doesn’t mind playing central midfielders wide, ie MacArthur last season here and there.

We’ll spend our money on a striker and cms

He's been suggested in the past and I'll say what I've said there here.

Not heard anything of an 18 mill release fee. Gibson isn't the sort of chairman to have to let players have release fees. Not even a whiff of him wanting to leave the boro or them having any need to sell. Will take a lot to prize him away. Don't think it will happen.

Boro are about to lose Gibson for big money and so wont let Traore go for anything less than his release fee. We only went for Ayew because it was 2mill cash and Reidewald. Cant see Boro accepting 2 mill and Jairo

Maybe £10M and Riedewald?

Otherwise looks like another great Wolves signing. We should be all over this if we can afford it.

Can't see it. Do we have 10 mill to spend and if Jairo didn't want to drop down a Division and go to Swansea, why would he go to Boro. And that's even if Boro want him. Pulis manages Boro and Jairo is not a Pu;is style midfielder.

Shame we couldn’t bring him in, I think the fee was beyond what we have left in the kitty in this window for transfers.

Looks like he has a medical at Wolves today. I rate this guy, bags of potential.

Bags of potential. A potential replacement for Zaha. Only Zaha is staying. So since you can’t have everything, I am happy with what we have got.

Agree. Have always said I rate him, we should have gone for him when he left Villa. But, at the moment he is too expensive for us. I have said in the past and will say again I'd like us to go for a young winger with potential, as Redmond, Traore, Gray etc were in the past and let him learn off Townsend and Zaha.
