Why is no one from the FA being charged. They chose the venue, didn't do an independent risk assessment and went ahead with the game. If we as a country are going to prosecute the police and the Health and Safety official of Sheffield Wednesday then surely the FA is culpable to. Prosecution just to appease the scousers.

Back then there was no H&S, it was always down to Stadium Officals & Match Day Commanders to decide Stadium Safety.. In hindsight, this went horrible wrong, as we all now know.

The FA will escape any blame, because it didnt involve them. I do though agree with you, that the bindippers will get a *ahem* result that THEY want.

Fair play to the families for fighting this, but, what about Heysal?

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

The Health and Safety at work Act came in in 1974. Criminal charges can be brought against all accountable.

Corporate Manslaughter only came in 2007 though.

Duckenfield was Match Commander

[Link]

The 'he was new to the job' doesn't wash with me. He was a Match Commander. He took the job, and failed.
'Hospitality' before KO undoubtedly played a part,... for me

and like all enquiries, and their findings.

This is waaaaaay tooo late to help anyone. It's just spunked a load of public cash on an "inconclusive" finding. Jobs for the boys/girls.
