The single lane rural speed limit has been reduced from 90 kph to 80 kph across the entire country, from yesterday. Which doesn't really affect the w***ers in Paris who made the decision.

They've said they may change it back if it doesn't improve road safety, but that's utter bollocks obviously.

You also now need to have a clean air sticker, that costs you 3 euros (and a much higher fine if you don't, funnily enough), to display what your emissions are. If they're too high, and the wrong colour sticker, you can be banned from driving in certain cities or certain times. If your vehicle is too old you won't be able to get a sticker at all.
