I don't quite share your level of dislike and sensitivity. You could learn a lesson from Steely. You're not stupid, but you wear your ideological flaws rather obviously. Well, from my worldview they are flaws. I have little doubt from your perspective your views and observations make perfect sense.

It's a shame if robust interactions have contributed in you using the political forums less. Know that while I have enjoyed the knock-about element to our disagreements I do acknowledge that literate voices on the left are a healthy balance to the debate. However, the political battleground isn't a scene for faint hearts.

Still, we should all see our interactions from the realisation that no one's changing the world here. An exchange of views is just that.
