Premier league 2 is not just a name change. The real point is to pull up the drawbridge and just have 2 leagues of 18 teams. Everyone outside of that can go whistle. To make it even more interesting the people behind this idea would prefer to invite clubs to the new format. Lets face it why bother with pesky things such as league placings. Such and such club is a sleeping giant with a big fan base and should be in. No one wants to see the plucky little club with the small fan base who are there by merit. The day this happens is the day I stop watching football. We all have to start somewhere and the hope that one day your little club makes it to the top league is what makes our football so interesting. Edited by Badger11 (10 Jun 2018 8.17am)

Do you perhaps love the idea a European Top league as well? With the top 6 starting to take either a bigger share of the TV money or leaving the PL altogether maybe?[ quote=cryrst;3342235] Should the championship be called this title.
