The solution, according to the BT commentators...”Liverpool need to buy some more players”. How much have they spent in the last (say) 3 years?? Net spend (apparently) since 2014..... 1. City £496m I'd say not much.

I have a funny feeling that seeing what the bin dippers were like after Salah went off might cause the following conversation to take place soon. "Hi Steve. This is Liverpool. We were wondering how much you wanted for Za-" *click* Also quite entertaining seeing them all whining about Salah getting injured ostensibly on purpose by Ramos when they were perfectly happy for Grujic to put Tomkins out of action for a few weeks.

If Palace are spending that much on nets there is some serious mis-management going on. Even if you factor in gaffer tape, tent pegs (for pinning the nets down) and corner flags, it's possible to get a set of nets for under £50 million. Even cheaper on eBay Originally posted by .TUX.

Even cheaper on eBay Real Madrid players were cutting pieces out of the net so nets must be worth loads cos they’re all multi multi millionaires.

At the level required for Championships League football, the depth of quality of Liverpool subs bench last night when compared to Real Madrid's was dirt poor. Can't legislate though for Karius' goalkeeping howlers - tragic night for the fella who displayed his mortification all too clearly afterwards. I hope that the team can rally around to support him although Pool clearly need to buy in with this position in mind. Would like to think that in the interests of sportsmanship, that we were all Liverpool fans for one evening last night and that such an experience can be turned into something really positive for the passionate Merseysiders. We need UK teams to hit the top in Europe... ideally it would be Palace contesting but we are a long way off from realising that goal at present.
