If Sheeran could sell out any venue several times over he doesn't need Ticketmaster or the like so why use them? Presumably so that if there is a monumental f*** up he's not liable for everything.

It's owner is called Pugnacious Endeavors, which is rather apt as they seem to be argumentative t***s.

I think yesterday on the news they had a segment where Nine Inch Nails have just announced a tour & the stipulation was/is that if you want to see them Live you must queue up for a ticket (like you did 20 years ago) absolutely NO online sales..

Nice Ethics from Ed. But it'll need every artist to adopt the same approach to touting, for this to succeed. Some Governments choose not to regulate and rely on commercial forces to see everything right. Hmmmmm
