I know a few people who've made lists of companies they'd be writing to on 25 May 2018.

I hope they did it in compliance with GDPR.

GDPR only covers personal details sufficient to identify a living individual. It doesn’t extend to company details,

This is actually the first bollox under GDPR. No one can be forced to do anything. The answer for the complainants is to ‘opt out’ if they are not happy ie stop using these companies’ services.

Too late if you're already using them and then they change their terms, which then forces you to accept them before being able to regain access to what you were using.

I was happily using Whatsapp before those w***ers at Facebook bought it and stole everyone's data to use on their s*** products like Facebook and Messenger etc.

And the terms should be about 10 lines, not 10,000.

I think I had to click through about four whole pages of terms and conditions from Facebook today. I don't even think their codebase is that voluminous. Oh, and it was all gibberish, as well.
