Becoming?

I couldn’t be bothered to read the article, but does it say what the current cocaine capital of Europe is, and how far ‘we’ are away from taking the ‘honour’?

London is the cocaine capital of Europe.

London is also the financial city of Europe.

It's no coincidence.

Shrewd thinking. Do you think each of them is a good thing or a bad thing?

I’d say the Cocaine taken in the square mile is now a tiny percentage of London, let alone the uk.

Ecstasy is much better legalise that and regulate it then all that harmful s*** they mix it with will dry out. Less damaging then booze and smoking.

It's not true that it will die out.

You can't get rid of the black market: it adjusts.

Its the demand which is the problem. take away the demand take away the problem. Caught with any amount of Coke, 5 year in jail, caught dealing 15 years. Dob in a dealer and once found guilty get £10000.

Why are the government so scared of being tough?

It was meant to be 5 for carrying a blade
That don't happen either so no chance of it here.
Basically if people want it then sell it to them and tax it.
Then the illegal market falls overnight.
No more drug wars .bingo
If alcohol was invented now; that would be illegal and we would still have prohibition.

Correct. Tobacco is legal and taxed, Alcohol is legal and taxed. There are massive black markets in both, with ‘organised crime’ the beneficiary.

Love the dob in a dealer idea, I wouldn't have to work, just sit in my bedroom overlooking the alleyway next to my house and let the money come in.
