I'm confused. Are we supporting David Hopkin's bid to be Prime Minister because the current post holder hasn't managed back-to-back promotions in the Scottish League?

Or will she p*ss off to Leeds at some stage too?

Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune)

"Premier League, you're 'avin' a laugh"? No, no, no ... I remember Luton fans singing "premiership ..." after we played them in the championship after just getting relegated from the PREMIERSHIP ... and f*ck that w*nker Andy Goldberg, it's league now but once it was ship and David Hopkin is not ready for us while I'm at it.

Ever heard of Alex Ferguson?

Ferguson managed the third biggest club in Jockland, Aberdeen, who he lead to the title and a European cup. A long, long way from Lvingstone.

Yes. But where did he start BEFORE Aberdeen.
He began his managerial career at 2 nd division East Stirlingshire before St Mirren.
Everyone starts somewhere and in football management there is a very long road ahead. Look at RH.

Hopkin wouldn't have even got a mention on here were it not for the strange obsession some have with ex-players. Jack Ross was considerably more successful this season at St Mirren, 12 points clear and PFA Scottish Manager of the Year, but no one's suggesting he should be our next manager; his best English job offer was League One Barnsley.

We never played good football under Coppell. Effective yes, but very bang-it-and-whack-it. We played all right at times under Bruce and Dowie but this is better, especially given the level.

Out of all the styles Palace have ever played, i liked the 1996 team under Harry Bassett. Maybe it was the era, but that was a really likeable side, playing some lovely pass and move stuff.

It’s yank ESPN anchors and the Asian TV networks that started all that nonsense. I heard it when living overseas and it riled me then. And now you get prats over here in England saying it.

You sometimes have to make it clear that you're talking about England when you're dealing with people who think Partick Thistle is a football club. (It's a kind of weed that grows next to the railway tracks outside Exhibition Centre station where it runs alongside the Clydeside Expressway).
