Bromley went very deep in the second half and ended up punting the ball out and having Brackley keep bringing it back to them, putting them under constant pressure. They defended with backs to the wall and the goalkeeper, Gregory, played magnificently but ended up conceding an unlucky bounce off the post and his own defender in the 96th minute.

All very familiar if you follow the Palace.

So, the FA Vase and FA Trophy were BOTH played at Wembley today. At different times, thankfully.

Thatcham won the Vase.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Just got back from Wembley after watching both games there, price charge was £25.00.

Thatcham won the Vase from a penalty after a player called James Ward for Stockton fouled Jordon Brown in the box. This match was their 41st unbeaten match running.

Bromley did lose on pens but Brackley Town had their 1st pen saved, Bromley had a chance to win on pens 5-4 but missed then hit the post with the next, Brackley then scored from pen to win 5-4.
