On my way to work the other day passing south Bermondsey I noticed that the word Selhurst appears in massive letters on the advertising of the upper tier at the Den.

If you take a proper look in from the train it actually says Selhurst building & timber merchant, but a quick glance you only see the word Selhurst big and bold.

I'd like to think that whoever booked the ad space knew what they were doing and if so thanks, for giving me a little chuckle on my morning commute.

Selhurst Timber have advertised there for years. I remember the signage from our Championship years playing against the knuckle-draggers! Ollie's Dad,Ash.

All the clothing in their yard has the Palace badge on. I know the son , reckons he’s a millwall fan, I’ve seen him at Palace. bit confused I think.
