If we stay up, which I think we have almost guaranteed, would anyone think it would be impossible to get top 7 under Roy? Under Roy we have lost 12, won 10 and drawn 6 (including cup games), with four of those losses coming recently against Spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool and United. Since our first 7 games, the only other teams we have lost to, in the league, are Everton, Arsenal twice, Spurs (again) and Newcastle, the game after the first win of the season. He is bringing the best out of our players now. If we can keep our key players this summer, such as Wilf, Sakho and Cabaye, and make 3 to 4 key signings, one being a proven goal scorer, could we get into a Europa league spot? We are also meant to be getting the Getafe keeper (from what I've heard), which will be a good signing for us. We are now 11th in the league, even after our terrible start, even after playing some of the season with 0 natural strikers in the team. Personally, I think we could. If we can get 2 forwards at least, I don't think it is a laughable suggestion. Thoughts? Edited by speediej (29 Apr 2018 3.53pm)

I think it’s a achievable goal if we can get a goal scorer. If Burnley can do it I don’t see why we can’t. On paper we’ve a better squad then they have. Roy’s stats, considering the injury’s we’ve had is incredible. We went about 5 games in a row without making a sub as the bench was so weak. That combined with our ‘star’ striker being useless all season. I think I’m right in saying that the only team outside the top six to beat us in the last 30 games was Everton away. If we can replicate Roys form next season we’ll certainly be there or thereabouts. I’d like to see us go for both cups if our league form is good. Roy Hodgson, hero
