Ronaldo being a world class player mind, Zaha unfortunately is not.........

Ronaldo is or was Madrid' s best player by far; Wilf's ours. There are parallels. To be clear though I don't think either should captain their team.

For one thing, if they don't work out as captains, you risk pissing them off when you take the arm band away from them

I agree with this he actually comes across well in interviews now. Someone told me he is now a father whether his is or not he seems to have done a lot of growing up. OK on the pitch he has a tantrum but then so did Roy Keane and he was a good captain. However I agree with the poster who didn't want to burden him with this.

He used to come across as the shyest person in the world, his appearances on Soccer AM and Play to the whistle a few years back were like watching a rabbit in the headlights.

Optimistic as ever

Captaincy ruined Dann’s previous season arguably. Don’t think Wilf’s the right fit for the role and should concentrate on his game.

Be good to find a captain that Wilf fully respects and follows a mature lead from. Could be Luka. Could be someone else.
