Having watched the weed game last night expecting the spuds to teach them a lesson. I thought spurs were awful...not a lot of interest and Eriksen (for me one of the best players in the prem) who never gives the ball away must've given the ball away 15 times last night. Spurs quite obviously weren't up for it as soon as they realised the weed were actually going to put up a fight and not roll over. This got me thinking, I can see the same from the top 6 for the rest of the season, Man City (won the league, hungover), Man Utd (FA Cup) Liverpool (ECL),Spurs (FA Cup),Chelsea (FA Cup)The Arse (Europa) so any teams down the bottom playing this lot probably have a fair chance of getting a result. Our run in looks so much easier, but is it really ?

My thinking now is when next years fixtures come out better to have top six at back half as they obviously take their foot off pedal ie Man Utd , Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs,. Let’s see how Man City and Liverpool get on against our relegation rivals .

I'd still much rather our current fixtures than any of our relegation rivals, yes they may get results off some of the big teams due to their focus being elsewhere, but would you be confident of getting at least 9 points from 4 games against the top 6/8

Then there will be a really close title race and all of them out of Europe so they will be desparate for points and well rested. Sod's law.

You can pretty much guarantee that, whenever we play a top six side, they will turn up against us – even Arsenal, who have gifted points to all the bottom eight sides this season apart from us and Huddersfield – and they still have a game left against Huddersfield.

So the answer is for the end of the season to be full of top 6 v top 6 matches.

We've got to play Watford and Leicester, ,,,who have nothing to play for, and WBA who will already be relegated and just want the season over with ....plus stoke who might also already be down by thd time wd play them...rather play this lot than top six sides.

Indeed. Better to play a team that hasn't got the tools to hurt us much than one that has even though it might choose not to use them.

Perfectly put. If we'd have been playing a top 6 team instead of bournemouth , we would probably have been one down in the first minute. ....

Yep and if we'd been playing a top-6 side rather than Brighton, they would have taken that last minute chance.
