Forest Hillbilly Flag in a hidey-hole 15 Apr 18 5.30pm Send a Private Message to Forest Hillbilly Add Forest Hillbilly as a friend

So, I’m parked in a supermarket car park, some 30 miles along the coast from Brighton this morning. The middle of Bandit/weed country. However, there are always a few Palace about, as exiles from London.
I’m parked opposite a black 4x4, waiting for the missus to re-fill the wine cellar to continue the celebrations. The 4x4 has 3 Palace stickers on the windscreen, some Palace dice hanging from the rearview mirror and a Palace bear on the dashboard.
“Hmmm” me thinks “that’s a brave thing to be driving after yesterdays result”. Maybe I’ll get out and have a chat if they come out before the wife does.
10 minutes later, a couple of BLT’s (Big Lesbian /Trans) approach the 4x4 and load up the boot.

I was going to make some purile joke about ‘batting for the other side’, but I was seriously impressed with the colours displayed so openly on the vehicle. Not only that, but they chose Palace over Brighton, so it shows that Palace are doing something right.
I was too scared to say hello. But I doffs me hat to the Palace fans

I disengage, I turn the page.

Has Jo Brand moved to the South Coast? (She would find that funny and say it herself before any of the usual suspects gets offended on her behalf)

Jo Brand lives close to Hastings. I have met her a few times locally, and at Selhurst. So yeah, she lives nearby to the coast.
I also saw a Woman in a Palace shirt interviewed for South-East today on the TV, running the Brighton marathon.
Fair play to all the Palace fans that did that run. And also an acknowledgement to the support from Brighton fans who cheered along the route.
Well done everyone.

Willo Flag South coast - west of Brighton. 15 Apr 18 6.26pm Send a Private Message to Willo Add Willo as a friend

I live on the south coast less than 20 miles from Brighton and there are quite a few Palace supporters whom I know that reside in my locality.

I was informed that on the evening of the Speroni testimonial there were quite in Palace colours waiting at the local station for ther train to London.

Less than 20 miles from Brighton...I've got it!! But I must say I had you and Mrs Willo down for something a little grander

Slightly off topic but I went to Australia a couple of summers back and was doing a bit of boogie boarding at Noosa only to bump into 2 young ladies both sporting Palace shirts. They apparently were back packing their way up to Cairns. It was my better half that spotted them and engaged them in conversation. Possibly the furthest afield I have come across Palace fans.
