It was so loud before the game I couldn't hear glad all over until the second chorus - which was louder than 5 jet engines

I liked the half time penalty shoot out where a Brighton kid was asked who his favourite Chelsea player was

Great atmosphere yesterday, though I thought the weeds support was really poor considering the occasion.

In the Arthur the noise is unreal. I can’t remember a game with so much noise and energy. I could see the whole ground singing after the third goal, but do we sound really loud over in the Main stand?
What about when you are not singing? Is the Homesdale and the Arthur corner loud?

Would have been nice to shut down the tannoy to savour the atmosphere before Glad all Over and team announcements.

Pre-match I thought Brighton were pretty loud given their reduced allocation. Thereafter they were extraordinarily quiet. I could understand when we were dominating in the first half -- we were so loud they were always going to struggle to be heard. Second half, when they were chasing the game, they were extraordinarily quiet. Really surprised.

Our fans were immense. Pleasure to have shown my little lad what it's all about. He was singing away.

They were only loud pre game because most of teh ground was empty as everyone was trying to get in or still at the bar...they started off ok...with their staple of just the 3 songs...if you can call "seagulls" and "Albion" songs..but as soon as the game kicked off, they were put in their place by the whole ground...when the first goal went in that was it...even when they scored there was no real conviction from them...gutless, spineless, pathetic are just 3 words I could use...but embarrassing for such a big game for them that they couldnt even get behind their team for 90mins no matter what...which just about sums their fanbase up beautifully.

Even their smoke bombs were a damp squip...i pitty them.

We had a group of their fans in the main stand jump up and celebrate their first goal, which caused a ruck...made us all laugh that when they were being carted out we scored the third right in front of them as they were being walked to the corner of the stadium...hehehehe

There are Teachers and there are pupils...they were taught a lesson; both on and off the pitch.

It came over really strongly on the radio commentary.

And a good five minutes after the final whistle they were commenting that the stand was still shaking!

All good. Nothing bad.
