Making zahas performance all about him again on match of the day. "He has improved hasn't he." When wright says yes he replies "thanks" and smugly laughs. f*** you, self righteous prick. Christ he's so up his own arse.

Best thing zaha can do though is keep doing what he's doing. Class today.

I have to mute the show when Shearer is on.
I have never heard any insight from him about any player or match.
Smug, unfunny and seemingly part of some sort of ‘old boys’ club’ on Match of the Day.’g
Perhaps he can’t help being thick but does he have to share this with the viewers.

Never offers a single worthwhile insight into the game.

That's why he's not manager material. Eight matches as boss of Newcastle in 2009: won1 1, drawn 2, lost 5. ALthough I suppose, in fairness, they were pretty much doomed that season anyway.

Blimey, people need to move on.

He spoke for a couple of minutes about how good Zaha and Townsend were, and it was only when Ian Wright actually said that he’s maybe lacked end product that Shearer jumped in again to say ‘he has improved.’

Somehow you’ve still taken that as a negative, weird.

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

If you think Shearer is bad try surviving with Chris Sutton on BT Sport.
His comments about Palace are uncomplimentary and bigoted. His in-match comments are laughable - he is always right and the main commentator and the referee usually wrong.
And don't get me started about Phil Thompson - strident and unintelligible most of the time.

Next time Alan Shearer is on Match of the Day, try to predict the exact minute when the plodding pundit repeats this phrase:

"The gurl--kipper hud nur chuntz."

(Translation: The Goalkeeper had no chance)

He says it about every single goal he analyses.

Maybe we should run a sweep stake.

I thought Shearer was ok last night, Ian Wright was beaming....

He loves seeing Brighton getting stuffed, so it was no surprise he was on last night. Wright used to get Dogs abuse from their fans when we played them at the Goldstone Ground. So now it is Wilf who is getting it....

Remember watching a TV programme in 2013 when we were in the Championship and Tom Ince was getting a lot of coverage (at Blackpool I think). Ian Wright was asked who was the better prospect out of Wilf and young Ince.

Probably a bit of a loaded question as Wright and Paul Ince were mates but Wright was not hesitant in his answer.

Wilf doesnt have Wright's out and out goalscoring talent but an argument could be made that he's been as influential to us.
