Although Turkey is (rightly or wrongly) a member of UEFA, so I guess it should have a fair crack at being allowed to host 'Euro' things; it has of course hosted the (so-called) Champions League final. Well so are Israel but I don't think UEFA would give them a fair crack! Not that I think they're going to give Turkey one, they've just let them bid for it. A bit like us with FIFA for 2022. UEFA would host the CL final in America if someone paid them enough.
