Anyone know if pubs around NJ are open as usual on Saturday or are any being told not to open on Police advice?

I know that pubs in Thornton Heath have been advised to not open although I know the Telegraph will be open to home fans with tickets only. I'd guess it would be the same in Norwood Junction.

You'd have thought given the pubs need to work out their staffing rotas that an agreement would have been know at least a week before the game.

I swear we hear this before every home game against Brighton. I can't see the pubs shutting cause they'll want to make a few quid on Saturday with the possibility of people having a couple more than usual or people who don't usually drink before matches deciding to have a couple due to the fact it's Brighton. I certainly can't see The Cherries closing.

Telegraph with your ticket no issue, John will be on the door. Only problem might be walking past the George to the ground. had a few issue in prevyyeras en-route from the Wilton with the weed.

The George isn't opening.

I don't think any Brighton will be drinking in the Spoons but if you want to avoid it just turn right out of the pub down Bensham Manor Rd and go over the railway bridge.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Thanks topcat; I am too old &lazy to do that, never took the easy route when I drank in the Wilton, but could do without the Agro now, espically if my wife is with me. I suspect Croydon could be very lively before the game. 3 points for us.
