You can also argue it the other way. City have now lost 2 on the spin and are not looking good for the return leg against Liverpool. If the wheels on the bus are coming off (cos some Scouser loosened the nuts) it could be a good time to play them.

I'd prefer city to wrap up the league soon becuase then they can relax and won't be under pressure to perform! End of the day it's in our own hands!
