So what is the solution to this increased problem of attacking the opponent's coach which is quite disgraceful. IMO a coach must be securely parked in a facility and not delivered to the front door of the hosts with their alleged fans. To be paid for by the hosts I think, but whatever. Fpr example a coach from, say Liverpool, would be delivered to a secure facility such as NCP in Croydon. I guess minibus to take the players to the venue. Any ideas?

Friendly, respectable and considerate? In Liverpool? Come off it. The fact they had to ask for it shows it was reasonably foreseeable. They are clear unfit to manage major sporting events or wilfully disregarding their duties.

No, but they'll find someone else to blame as always! Probably blame the SUN. In all reality, did not Palace fans smash up their own team's coach a few years back, thinking it was the seaweed coach??

I wonder what the uproar and punishment would be if they were Millwall supporters

New video of it on this BBC article. Direct quote from someone on the bus around 1 min 30 odd "they knew this was going to happen". Klopp says it's "just a few idiots". Few hundred would be more like it. Edited by Stuk (06 Apr 2018 3.13pm)

That isn't a saying I've ever heard but maybe evidence would have served you better. Any fool knows there's more to football-related violence than meets the eye.

NO I don't subscribe to the conspiracy theories relating to Liverpool FC stoking the fires and encouraging violence outside the ground against their opponents. Those reprobates armed with bottles etc were hell-bent on causing a disturbance and succeeded.Nothing put out by Liverpool made any difference at all. I'm sure Liverpool wanted an intimidating atmosphere in Anfield whilst the game was in progress but certainly did not want to witness some of the wanton violence perpertrated by their hoodlum supporters.
