Never understood this rivalry.
Millwall east London team moved to south London's bermondsey only a few miles from Selhurst.
Known through out UK for their fierce rivalry with fellow east Londoners WHU.

Saying that, hope they don't get promoted.

for comedy value for one season only it would be very entertaining. Maybe they could eclipse Swindon's record in the top flight?

I think some Millwall fans would not care about the results. The chance to introduce themselves to Wet Spam, Chelski, Spurs and the Arse is too tempting.

On a serious note most Millwall fans I know would happily spend a year in the premier league being tonked because of the money the club would earn. That is why I don't want them or Charlton coming up anytime.

Tough run in that Villa game looks particularly appetising if there is a lot riding on it.

I'd be happy to see them promoted, another easy to get to away ground. Hopefully we are still in the PL then.

Didn't their fans start fighting among themselves last time they played at Wembley?

At least they didn't grafitti their own bus.

Because one or two morons is far stupider than half your fan base fighting each other, including the players and manager. Whether they won or lost the game.

Optimistic as ever

That made for a good story but (not that it makes it ok) it wasn't our own bus but one hired from a local company.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Went to a couple of aways there when I was a kid and they'll always be the worst. Forget Brighton.
