Did anyone listen to Monday Night Club this week? There's the journalist from the NY Times (Can't remember his name) who claims he's had a number of overseas imported players state their disappointment of the 'famous' English atmosphere, which essentially wasn't what they had been led to believe it was. Think the PL is just a bit s***.

The comments section on the BBC article about this is great. Lots of denial from Man U fans saying it's not true and that a Liverpool fan etc has made it up. Off the top of my head I can only recall 3 things that they chant. One of them is that piece of literary genius that goes "attack, attack, attack, attack, attack" Another is about them being "champions of Europe" which they haven't been for over a decade. And the other one is about some French c*** that hasn't played for them for over 20 years. Would that be the French c*** who, on his last visit to us, not only got himself sent off but also got himself arrested and declared Public Enemy Number One? Their fans mostly live in B******n anyway.

Think the PL is just a bit s***. Football in England has become too expensive and squarely aimed at the moneyed classes. Look at Spurs new Cheese Stadium. It looks lovely but with ST prices starting at £700, only the wealthy need apply. You would have thought that would have learned something from the Arsenal Library where they have also priced ordinary fans from attendance. Perhaps they have and just don't care.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

Its all about the money these days. Ironic really as gate receipts are small beer compared to the TV money.

The £30 tickets for away fans was a good start and almost halved the price of some away tickets. We need a £400 maximum price for the cheapest adult season tickets and £30 maximum price for the cheapest adult home tickets.
