We played excellent today. Every player was worth there salt.
F..king freezing with some almost bizarre condition second half.
I thought there fans where class in and out of the ground.
Got behind their team and were a good laugh outside to be fair.
Nightmare drive back .
But today Thompkins and MacArthur stood out with Townsend not far behind O and Wan . That kid is magic...

defensively we were enormous, Tomkins starting to look like international material.

But I felt Wilf for the most part was off the pace, slow to react and thought he had more time than he had.
Tekkers had a decent first half, but dont remember him winning much in the air in the 2nd, but given how we use him, im not surprised.

Milo and Cabaye looked good in the middle, but we lost way too many balls to tackles due to waiting on the ball.

This is what happens when teams pressure us all over the field.

But even so he got the corner for the first goal, despite having three men on him, and made a great pass to set Townsend on his way for the penalty.

We can't seem to win ( or even draw, on past history) without him

I only saw the highlights on MOTD but how was Sakho. They showed one mislaid defensive pass where he then made a superb tackle in the penalty area to rescue it for us.

Did it look like he was organising the back four?

Find out what team is in which division, eg which division is Coppull United in?

Huddersfield " kickers" look in big trouble now as they face a slide back to the Championship.

Did you watch the same game as everyone else? Zaha terrified them, they couldn't deal with him, resorting to fouling constantly.

Wilf wasn't that great in the first half, lost the ball due to slow reactions as twist said (had a few good moments though). In the 2nd half he was alot better, carrying the ball up the pitch without ever losing it from what I recall. Whole team grew in confidence actually, especially after the second went in....

Sakho was solid. He did give up that one lazy pass, but made up for it with a huge recovery. He just settles everyone down at the back, and PVA, Tomkins and Wan-bissaka are benefiting as a result.
Sakho always talking, composing, he really is the beast!

They had 3 players booked all fouling Wilf
Got the corner with 3 around him, which led to the goal
Started the run out of our box, took the return and played thru to Townsend, who got the penalty.

Not bad for some who think he was slow and off the pace
