Not those exact names but that is what I thought when I read the OP.

It's ridiculous. Swerve people who invent these DB names.

I have an acquaintance I have known since the early 80s.
He added his last forename to his surname to create a double-barrelled name.Perhaps he felt that this gave him a certain amount of kudos in his profession in the City.

Incidentally,my mother's maiden name was double-barrelled but it wasn't invented !

All names are invented somewhere along the line.

I feel,a lot of people on this thread are misunderstanding why so many are using double barrelled names. It isn't some pursuit of poshness. See the thread on page 1 which summarises it nicely.

In most cases it appears to me pretentious crap, a passing fashion trend.......and given that ex-gooner now Scouser Alex has Chamberlain on his shirt, why do the pathetic commentators insist on using his double-barrelled moniker ???

Would their offsprings be Fosu-Mensah-Loftus-Cheek?

What happens when they grow up and have partner with a 4 barrelled name ?
Will any offspring have an 8 barrelled surname?
