Cabaye and RLC to return tomorrow - maybe on the bench?
Ward has gone backwards and Wickham further injured?

And how is Wickham further injured?

This team is our best imo.. Although I'm not sure about the RB, maybe TFM should replace AWB.

Agree. Although I would expect RLC to tire. I'd never play Benteke again.

Wayne

TFM #Soldier Tomkins PVA

Wilf Luka McArthur RLC Andros

Benteke

Nice strong team early on.

Choices of guile; Cabaye legs; Schlupp or force; Sorloth later

Wan Bissaka's been good but TFM pace and a beast on his day.

I think that we need to consider the Benteke - Zaha and RLC - Zaha partnerships that were forming when all 3 were fit.

RLC may not be 100% ready yet so an option off the bench. Huddersfield are a solid side so we have to stand up to them physically first.

I'd start the game with
Hennessey
Wan Bissaka Tomkins Sakho PVA
Andros Luka Cabaye Macca Zaha
Benteke

RLC on for Macca
Jairo on for Cabaye
Sorloth on for Benteke

Parrot

Fossu Mensah was playing very well at RB but Wan Bissaka has been playing even better, so TFM on the bench. TFM could offer cover both at CB and RB

No team would fancy playing against us...

COYP!!

I'd be tempted to start TFM in the middle over RLC or Macca. Just think it'll be a real physical battle. When I've seen Huddersfield win it's often been through energy and power. Which there's nothing wrong with A little like the old Stoke teams. Plus I'm not sure RLC will be fully match fit... But I guess we'll see.

I would give Benteke one last chance.

If he flops again it would be better to give Sorloth
a chance to gel with Zaha.

I do not understand what goes on in Benteke's head.
Doesn't he want to play in the World Cup?

Eight matches to go and 4 wins are vital so no more excuses.

Yes I agree with starting with Benteke. The last couple of home matches he has put in a shift and been unlucky next to score. Sørloth has looked dangerous but was thrown in the deep end in February and perhaps could benefit from a couple of matches coming on as impact sub for last thirty mins?

I now there’s a risk in using him, but I feel that having Wilf on from the start will be a big plus for us. We could wrap in cotton wool and ease him back, but if he is to make himself match fit I think giving Wilf 60 - 70 minutes would be good if he can last it.

He’d be better prepared for the next game in terms of fitness and the pressure would be off in terms having to rule the game given he’s just returned IMHO.

If he gets injured then that is merely a bybproduct of any game. We shouldn’t be scared of HTFC just because they kicked us off the pitch last time around.

COYP.

Would love us to play with 2 strikers (Sorloth and Benteke)up front against this lot. Knowing RH, I'd have a better chance of winning lotto! Probably the same 11 and formation as last week.
