Aged 49 and from The Wirral in Cheshire.

His two previous Palace matches this season were the 4-0 defeat at Man U and the 2-1 home win v Stoke.

(Incidentally, not entirely relevant but it's Mark Clattenburg's 43rd birthday today.)
