No I don't agree... Yes the goal should have stood however the miss prior to this where he hit the post was inexcusable. He had the whole goal to aim at and he panicked and smashed it as hard as he could. No composure what so ever, the whole far post was open to aim for...

Lee is too lightweight, nice guy bit not at this level, he came on last two home games at late substitute (of why against Man Utd when we needed a defender!!) we lost both matches to late goals!!! Originally posted by Uphill
Sorloth's first three games have been against better quality teams than us and so it is not fair to criticise him as his is a huge step up from the Danish League. Playing him and Benteke as two centre forwards is never going to succeed and must be scrapped. Sorloth deserves persevering with as he does try to lay the ball off whereas Benteke's only useful contribution has been in defence.

How he missed from 8 yards out where he hit the post i'll never know, not to mention the fact he took the ball of zaha for it. Benteke all day long for me, hes had a hand in 7 of our 10 goals in 2018, 6 assists and a goal so clearly he is creating chances. Sorloth looks slow and clueless, I hope for the good of the club that he comes good. Idiot.

If that single miss was inexcusable how many chances has Benteke missed this season, dozens... wide, over and/or straioght at the keeper. And he cost 3 x times as much. Sorloth scored a legitiimate goal and set up our second goal at Paalce, why isn't anyone on here acknowledging that? Unlike Benetke that let the ball run out of play the week before, he took the ball up the touchline, took on 1 or 2 Chelski players to square to Zaha, who squared to PVA.

I still see a lot in Benteke, but I am looking forward to seeing how Sørloth does against Huddersfield. I don’t think it is fair to judge him on his performances against Spurs, Chelsea and Manchester United. How much someone cost is irrelevant to this discussion in my view.

Sorlith who look more mobile and hungrier. Benteke has been a disgrace. Dropping him he will no doubt sulk but Sorloth has looked as if he is adapting quickly to Premier league.
