Always hard to judge, is it just a good group of players or has the manager made a difference. I really dont know how you can tell. I mean, Mourinho was the best manager in the world, apparently, with his Porto team. But actually he isnt really doing enough now with a team full of world class players who would probably play in any other team in the premiership.

That was all heritage so doesn't matter.

My point stands, I cannot tell when it is the team or the manager's influence. These days plenty of managers do not even get to choose the players that get bought.
So difficult to judge unless you are in the know.

Completely agree. Hodgson made it clear he had no faith in Benteke and Striker position was his main target. Parish disagreed and said Goalkeeper was more important. In the end Parish both failed at giving Hodgson what he wanted and his GK signing failed to get through until the Summer anyway.

Hopefully some more responsiblity is delegated around different people and the Manager get's a bit more say in the future. Firstly we need to prove to Hodgson we will back him and his vision, then you can start targeting the more ambitious Manager's like Dyche.

If we lose Hodgson even though this is his last job, a year before his contract ends along with Pulis and Allardyce, no one decent will touch us. Have to beg Pardew to come back.

absolute garbage you are talking!!!! when has roy ever implied that he doesn't have faith in Christian benteke, he has always shown faith in him and he has been first choice whenever fit

Think that at end of day Roy had no other option but to play Benteke, although think he would have dropped him yesterday if Sorloth was fit .If Roy wants to go at end of season think he definitely should be offered Dougie s position as would be great ambassador for club and much needed wisdom & experience .
