She may have a point. Movies are about entertainment, I am not interested in the super hero genre but the public are judging by the box office returns. Using that standard Ocean's 8 has done pretty good at the US box office so why should care what some snooty critic thinks. I loved the 1960's original, didn't think much of the remake and never bothered to watch the sequels. Actresses bang on about pay equality well in Hollywood there is only one colour, green. Men are paid more because that is what the public want to see. If this movie continues to make money then Hollywood will make more female friendly films and the actresses will get their rewards. It also works the other way. So called important feminists movies that have the critics drooling but are ignored by the public, well tough its a commercial business. Edited by Badger11 (16 Jun 2018 6.43pm) You're not allowed to call them actresses anymore, you massive sexist. Unless they're nominated for an award, then they're fine with it. I've never watched a film because of a review, but I've not watched plenty on the basis that they're simply a lazy remake, prequel or sequel etc.
