Just watched the two goals we scored last night with a smile on my face then quickly turning the highlights off before manure started their comeback , so in my mind we won 2-0 hahaha I think I’ve finally gone mad !!

It is insulting to claim that an experienced manager like Hodgson somehow didn't recognise that players wre fatigued after a monumental effort. He did bring on Riedewald to shore up the midfield but at the end of the day you just cannot introduce 'Fresh legs' without considering the shape and balance of the team.If he felt it was beneficial to make further changes he would have done so.Perhaps he just doesn't rate some of the players on the bench ! Why is it insulting Willo? Cast your memory back to the Newcastle game. We were all over them in the second half with a great chance to win. Cabaye's legs were gone by then, he could barely run (maybe injured) yet he kept him on for the entire match. He could have brought on Sorloth to play up front with Benteke and dropped Wilf in midfield and go after the win. Even Riedewald was available on the bench yet he chose to play with the same players (aside from the Kelly substitution at HT.) Maybe there is some truth to the statement about Roy and substitutions!
