I was horrified to learn that the lad who was murdered last weekend in Liverpool city centre was a colleague and close friend of one of my close friends. He was in no way a 'scrapper' and was simply out for a quiet drink with, amongst others, my friend's partner. It was an horrific, unprovoked attack and three people have appeared in court this week charged with Ant's murder.

There will be a minute's applause at Everton in the 29th minute and I, for one, will be joining in. I just thought that I'd let everyone know what the applause is for ... although, of course, it's up to individuals to decide if they wish to take part.

RIP Ant Condron.

Crystal Palace - dull it's not!

Jeez - I am so sorry to hear that - how terrible.
Not that it helps but one hopes the assailants get a seriously long punishment.
The world we now live in eh!
