There was no Wilf Zaha in our first season back in the premier league and we survived. Granted, we lost the first 7 this season without him, however, Croydon Roy has been here a while now and got the side setup well and I truly believe we will pick up points in his absence. Massive over-reaction with some fans, who believe we will now 100 percent get relegated. We do have numerous injuries but only RLC and Zaha would be in our strongest side. Sakho and Tomkins solid, Luka, Cabaye, Big Ben and Sorloth - decent spine. Come on the palace!

Yes and we ended that season strongly with only one defeat in the last eight games, which started with a home win against Chelsea (thanks to John Terry). In that run we also won at Cardiff, who fielded a certain Mr Zaha on loan from MU.

We would rather be in our position than say West Brom who only have 20 points or Huddersfield whose last half dozen games are pretty horrific (same as Newcastle) - as long as we scrape together even say 4 points before 7th April, i think we will survive on about 37 points at the end of the season

I would say with our up coming fixtures, we MAY drop into the relegation zone before hopefully pulling away again. But, we have Brighton, Leicester and WBA - home. and Everton, Huddersfield, Bournemouth, Watford and Stoke - away. Four wins and 1 draw That's doable ... surely!!

I reckon we could win 2 games out of 12 and still stay up. If we get those 2 wins, we’d only need to pick up a point every other game to be on 38.

You make a good point. 38 points would've kept you up in all but 3 of the last 16 seasons. I'd rather get to 40 and ASAP too

But we did have Bolasie and even Puncheon. We're going to have to play even more long ball football than we did under Pulis seeing as our only real attacking options are a pair of target men and one very conventional winger.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |
