See yet again knee jerk sniping, diddums .

It was clear that Ulster wanted to stay in the EU in the referendum, so let them.

A better result for Ulster and the racists get an easier Brexit, after all Brexit is Brexit.

Ulster don't have the same immigration problems that we contend with on the mainland.

My family in Belfast wouldn't describe themselves as pro EU that's for sure.....they just don't contend with the same problems.....it's more just an economic decision for them.

I have no issues with that.

But the NI unionists that I know most definitely aren't ok with any threat to their British status.....as was recently proven by talks with the DUP and May.

You're just a typical leftist willing to trample over the identities of a group you don't like.....while you scream blue murder over others.

Everyone is a hypocrite to some extent.....but some on the left make it an art form.

I'm a leftist.

Ulster is also 9 counties.

The people of the 6 counties of Ulster (Northern Ireland), do not want a united Ireland.

Yep, that's fine, not everyone on the left speaks with the same voice.

Tabloid claims this morning that Jezza was a commie spy. As much as I would like this to be true it is long on smear and short on facts.

The claim is that in 1986 he met a Czech spy and that the Czech's targeted him. It is no surprise that he met them those were the circles he moved in at that time (CND, calling for better relations with Moscow etc.). Just because you are targeted doesn't mean that you agree to spy for someone. As for secret information I doubt that Jezza had access to any back then. My guess is that the Czech's looked him over and decided he wasn't important enough to recruit. I think the tabloids will have to do better if they want this story to gain traction.
