Bitterly disappointing. Missed out on Amadou who was screwed by his own club, playing games with Palace for past two weeks. But failure to land a GK looks baffling. Do we have a strong enough squad to get the 14 points we still need? It's going down to the wire once again...

We put up a dire peformance at Arsenal and this was followed by a less than impressive performance against W.Ham a team shorn of many key players whom we couldn't beat despite taking the lead.We have lost another player to injury (Sako) and Zaha is going through a bit of a dip in form. Our overall injury situation has been well documented. Our 'Transfer Window' has been hugely disappointing and it really is touch and go as to whether we survive.I know where the blame will be laid if we go down ! I doubt whether this from the Guardian means anything but I'm clutching at straws now - There’s still a little bit more to come – so for anyone tearing their hair out about Palace’s totemic new striker, their incoming cat of a shot stopper or Everton’s defensive colossus from Man City, Nick Miller will be on hand to see this to the bitter end. It’s been eventful, hasn’t it? Don’t go away.
Bangell - If Camus wrote The Myth of Sisyphus today, it would be about Jason Puncheon eternally trying and failing to pass with his right foot. |

That's despite having been in exactly the same position with exactly the same club and exactly the same player at exactly the same time in August.

Yeah I saw that, like I say, clutching at straws, maybe they know something we don't. The BBC said it was "unlikely" to go through ten minutes ago, which isn't a total negative, I know, I know, desperate.
