3 of the goals were shocking. Macca to blame for 1 and 3 by not tracking Monreal and to me Wilf wad more to blame for No2 than TFM. At the build up he was correctly goal side of Monreal but ehen TFM poorly cleared it Wilf had stopped and Monreal had no challenge. Lessons to be learned

I agree, we had no answer to Wilshire and Ozil, who just threaded passes through our defence.

Seem to remember the same in the match at Selhurst. How has that happened again ? It is how we react to yesterday that matters now. When we lost to them before Xmas we put in 3 very good performances afterwards. That is what we need to do now. Hopefully the Beast will be back for the Spammers, who don't have the same midfield as the Arse. Think we can compete a lot more in that department.

The nature of the goals conceded from the corners was the most disappointing. Although McArthur allowed his man to get goal side nobody tried to attack or take responsibility for the ball in. Hennessey was also all over the place.

We’ve seriously overachieved with the players available in the last few weeks and looked in trouble against Burnley when they tried to bully us in the air. Time for SP and co to stop fannying about and get the cheque book out.

GK, CF, tall Centre back and CM.

Burnley created one clear chance all game and looked completely toothless. I thought we dealt with their pressure in the second half comfortably. Up against a far more creative side yesterday but no excuse for the schoolboy errors.

You obviously saw a different game then because the last twenty minutes looked far from cosy from where I was sitting and I think they’d have scored had the game gone on another five.

The chance you referred to came from pumping the ball over the central defenders.

Rubbish defending in the air yesterday.

We certainly rode our luck v Burnley and I'd say we steered ourselves towards a draw and we're lucky to win. Of course we should've scored 2+ in the first half but didn't and they had several headers on goal and balls on the deck through the corridor.

Back to front we were woeful yesterday. It wasn’t as if Arsenal were really good. We gifted all 4 goals to them with a static defence and a goalkeeper who does not command the 18 yard box.

To cap it all an injury to Cabaye which means we have another player in the treatment room, I think it stands at 8 which is nearly the entire first 11. I know we have got 9 to 10 days left in the transfer window, but it is becoming critical now.

With the injuries we gave, we've been doing amazingly well lately, with most players playing out of their skins. Unfortunately yesterday we had a few important players who had poor games and if you do this against arsenal you can't hope to do well. 10 days off to lick our wounds, get a couple of players in and a couple of new signings and we'll be ready for west ham.

Arsenal looked well below par at Bournemouth and perhaps this raised the hopes of some of our supporters.

I did mention before the game that the return of Koscielny,Monreal and Ozil would be a big boost for them and I couldn't see us getting anything from the game.I think to be on the end of a 4-1 defeat is some consolation after being 4-0 down in just over 20 mins.
A 'Bad day at the office'.

Arsenal were great at Selhurst I thought - didn't see the goals from the Emirates till last night, the way the game was described on Final Score you'd think Arsenal played some top stuff to go 3 up, so I thought the moaners on here were throwin gtheir toys out, but they weren't, and Arsenal weren't that good - but f*ck me our defence was b*llocks - strange for a Hodgson team.
