In the Nantes v PSG match, the ref cuts a Nantes player off while chasing the play. The Nantes player, Diego Carlos, accidentally trips up the ref, who proceeds to kick out at him. Then he sends him off for a second bookable. Now, here is a ref who needs a very long vacation.

Im a ref and wanted to punch players in the snot box, but you just smile and wave. If he thinks the player legged him up, then just wait until he does something dumb (all players do) and then second yellow him.

But kicking a player a la Monsieur Beckham is a "heads Gone " moment.

But very funny though.

On the surface it looks like a half measure but read the whole story. In effect, he's done as he's retiring and a three month ban (plus an additional three suspended) brings him back in late April at the earliest. A sad way to end a long career.

I can think of quite a few EPL refs who deserve to be chucked out of football as well.
