I don't mind Cantona, he's a "character" which football seems to be lacking these days, I liked him even more when he "Kung Fu" kicked Matthew Simmons, slimey little racist w***er deserved it. I think people take Cantona a tiny bit more seriously than he does himself. (f***ing hate Man U though)
Bangell - If Camus wrote The Myth of Sisyphus today, it would be about Jason Puncheon eternally trying and failing to pass with his right foot. |

Strutting around like he was too good to actually leave the pitch and the referee couldn't do this. Then hanging around to disrupt the game in front of 22,000 baying fans wanting him to just feck off

Kanchelskis: "Looking back, it was probably just as well nobody went over to Cantona in the dressing room and asked why he had done it. "If we had got into an argument with him, everything might have gone out of control again. "We then had a shower and went to the bus for the flight back to Manchester. "Nobody talked about one of the most bizarre things any of us had seen on a football pitch. "Those of us who had seen what happened were in a state of shock." Incidentally, the Russian has another reason for remembering Selhurst - it was here that he made his Man U debut on May 11, 1991. Palace won 3-0 Full disclosure: Alex Ferguson fielded a weakened side because, the following Wednesday,a more important match loomed in Rotterdam, the Cup Winners Cup Final v Barcelona. (Apologies if this is beginning to sound like a Man U fans' forum - I promise I'm not an Old Trafford plastic!)

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |
